When to apply
- The application portal opens: 16 January
- Application deadline: 1 March 23:59 CET
We do not accept applications after the application deadline.
How to apply
You need to create an application in the application portal and upload all relevant documentation. This is the only way you can apply for admission.
Citizens from a country within the EU, EEA or Switzerland do not pay an application fee.
Citizens from a country outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland must pay an application fee.
Danish citizens and EU/EEA citizens are exempt for paying tuition fee if you at the application deadline are enrolled as a student at a Danish university, either in a Bachelor’s programme, a Professional Bachelor’s programme, a Master's programme, or a supplementary course in connection to a Bachelor's or Professional Bachelor's programme.
Students who do not fulfill the conditions above, will be required to pay tuition to attend a SDC Master's Programme.
Danish citizens, and other nationalities equated with Danish citizens, who are required to pay tuition may be eligible for the Danish “Udlandsstipendium” (scholarship for studying abroad) to cover your tuition fee. To find out if you are eligible, please go to the website of the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science for more information.
Pay your 1st semester tuition fee
If you are required to pay tuition fee, you need to pay the first part of your tuition in order to obtain full admission to your MSc programme. When you accept the offer of admission, we will send you an email with a link to our payment portal and instructions on how to make the payment.
If you fail to pay your tuition fee before the deadline, we will have to cancel your admission.
The tuition fee is 40,000 RMB pr year. The fee is paid before commencement of the first semester, and the following August before commencement of the third semester.
Please note that tuition fees are not refunded after 1 August (1 month before study start). After this date only a failed visa application will result in the refund of your tuition fee.
Apply here for entry in September
You can submit 3 applications for UCPH
Please note that you are only allowed to submit a maximum of 3 applications to study programmes across all faculties at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) for the same intake.
Any additional applications will be cancelled by the MSc admission office.

When you receive a message in the application portal, a notification will be sent to the email you have registered in your application. Please note that emails may end up in your spam filter.

We will be offering admission from 15 March – 15 April, and potential empty spots until late May. You will receive your offer of admission and information about tuition by email from admission@sdc.university.
If your admission is conditional the email will include a list of conditions you must meet prior to full admission, e.g. certified documentation for a completed Bachelor’s degree. We will inform you of the deadlines and how to meet the conditions.
