Most important application deadlines

Important deadlines vary depending on whether you are applying from Denmark, another EU/EEA country, or Switzerland, or if you are applying from outside the EU, EEA, and Switzerland.

Below, you can find the different application deadlines for starting in September and February.

Please note that you must accept or decline your offered study place within the deadline stated in your admission offer.

Study start in September

1 March at 23:59

Application deadline for Danish applicants and applicants from within the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
The application portal opens on 16 January. You will receive a reply by 10 June.

15 January at 23:59

Application deadline for applicants from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
The application portal opens on 15 November. You will receive a reply by 1 May.

Study start in February

15 October at 23:59

Application deadline for Danish applicants and applicants from within the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
The application portal opens on 15 August. You will receive a reply by 10 December.

1 September at 23:59

Application deadline for applicants from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
The application portal opens on 15 July. You will receive a reply by 1 December.

15 November

The application portal opens to applicants from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland (study start in September).

15 January at 23:59

Application deadline for applicants from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland (study start in September). 

REMEMBER to upload documentation BEFORE the deadline.

1 May

The University’s deadline for giving you a reply to whether you have been admitted with study start in September. You will receive the reply in the application portal, where you must accept or decline your student place.

5 May

Deadline for accepting your student place with study start in September. If you do not accept your place in the application portal before the deadline, you will not be admitted.

1 September

Application deadline for applicants from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland (study start in February). 

REMEMBER to upload documentation BEFORE the deadline.

Early September

You will start in early September if you have been admitted and have accepted your student place within the given deadline.

1 December

The University’s deadline for giving you a reply to whether you have been admitted with study start in February. You will receive the reply in the application portal, where you must accept or decline your student place.

5 December

Deadline for accepting your student place with study start in February. If you do not accept your place in the application portal before the deadline, you will not be admitted.

Early February (the following year)

You will start in early February if you have been admitted and have accepted your student place within the given deadline.

Application Deadlines for Citizens of the EU, EEA, and Switzerland

16 January

The application portal opens to applicants from Denmark and other EU countries as well as from the EEA and Switzerland (study start in September).

1 March at 23:59

10 June

The University’s deadline for giving you a reply to whether you have been admitted with study start in September. You will receive the reply in the application portal, where you also must accept or decline your place.

15 June

Deadline for accepting your student place with study start in September. If you do not accept your place in the application portal before the deadline, you will not be admitted.

You will start in early September if you have been admitted and have accepted your place within the given deadline.

Application deadline for applicants from Denmark and other EU countries as well as from the EEA and Switzerland (study start in February).
