Time for immersion and insight
The faculty's library service is located at the Faculty of Social Sciences Library, Gothersgade 140. Here there are reading spaces, lounges, group rooms and quiet zones. Students come to read and immerse themselves, of course, but also to discuss and meet with reading groups. The faculty library regularly organises events and activities where people from outside are also welcome. There are common areas around CSS where students can log on to the wireless network and work or relax during the day between classes in the various sofa groups and cosy corners.

Food and drink
In the basement of building 5 is the ‘big canteen’ at CSS, where many staff and students buy breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake etc. Here you can eat or read in peaceful surroundings. In the basement of building 4 is the ‘small canteen’, which doesn't have as large a selection as the large one. There is also a café in the basement of building 35.

‘Café Kommunen’ in building 12 is the faculty's shared student café; this is also where larger parties are organised. All departments also have cafés. Here students meet, drink coffee, organise parties, Thursday or Friday bars and academic events. Common to the student cafés is that they are all run by students and that there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the planning wo
